National PaperCrafting Month

January is National PaperCrafting Month and we are celebrating it with Live Your Day Pocket Cards, perfect for Picture My Life/Project Life memory keeping.

Here are just a few of the sample cards. You get a card for each month. And the best part--one side can be used vertically, the other horizontally, so they work well for any orientation.

These cards work well with our memory sheet protectors or you can choose to use them with our planners as I did here (love these Everyday Life planners by the way--do you have one for the new year?

Want to see more? Watch this short video. And remember, it's only available in January!

Happy Memory Keeping!

Simply Inspired Blog Hop--Year>>Noted

It's time for another blog hop, this time to celebrate National Papercrafting month and the fabulous Year>>Noted Special that Close to My Heart is offering this month. You can check out the details here.

This circle is one big loop and you should have arrived here from the lovely Lynn Como's blog. If at any point you get lost along the way, you can go here to get back on track.

I chose to use the Year>>Noted paper packet to document one of my favorite photos from 2014, one with my roommates at the Close to My Heart convention at Disneyland. Disneyland is truly my favorite place on earth, these friends are some of my besties and Close to My Heart is a fabulous company to be a part of so all the stars aligned for a memorable trip and thus a memorable photo.

I usually associate Disneyland with bright, primary colors but the colors in this packet complemented the photo well and the gold stickers made a nice accent, repeating some of the elements in the Disneyland art behind us.

The stamp set that comes with the paper made a perfect journaling spot. I masked off the s on both faves and snapshots in order to make the words work for my page.

Such a fun kit to work with. And so fun to document a fun time with friends.

I hope I've inspired you! And now on to the talented Katy Taylor's blog for more inspiration.

Simply Inspired Blog Hop--Cloud 9

It's time again for a blog hop! And this round, we are all doing a variation on the Cloud 9 kit, Close to My Heart's special for National PaperCrafting Month.  If you came here from Melissa's blog, you are on the right path. The blog hop is a great big circle, but if you happen to get lost along the way, please click here for a complete list of participants.  And now, on to my project!

Because Cloud 9 is a card making kit, of course you want to make the cards. There is enough product to make five designs, two of each card. However, what to do with the leftovers when you are done? I decided to use them in a My Crush book.

My Crush books are such a fun way to scrapbook quickly and easily and you don't need much product to do it as the pages are already very cute. Here's the blank pages.

I just added my photos and some leftover paper, washi tape and glitter tape from the Cloud 9 kit. I wrapped cardstock with the gold washi tape to get the larger pieces on the left page. And I cut some additional hearts to stamp on and to accent using the Cricut Artiste cartridge.

This was a lot of fun and literally only took me about ten minutes to pull together. And aren't my daughter and my nieces the cutest things?

I hope I've inspired you. And now on to Rebecca's blog to see what she came up with using Cloud 9. Enjoy!

National PaperCrafting Month

January is National Paper Crafting Month and in anticipation of Valentine's Day AND the new Spring/Summer Catalog that releases on February 1st, we have a special for you. The Whoo's Your Valentine kit is absolutely fabulous.

It comes with all you need to make 12 of these adorable Valentine's. For the stamp set alone, it is well worth it. I absolutely love that owl!

Check out the video below for more details. With a $35 purchase in January, you can get the kit for just $10.00. It truly is a bargain. And check out my post from December 21st for the retiring product list. Now might be the perfect time to load up on retiring product and qualify for the Whoo's Your Valentine set at the same time.
