September Stamp of the Month: Family is Forever

Ahhh, I love and truly believe in the sentiment, Family is Forever! And my mother and my aunt happen to be super genealogists! So this month's stamp of the month is perfect in so many ways.

I have big scrapbooking plans with this one but I just didn't have time to make those materialize over the weekend. But I did get this card done.

This was a card I had to let sit overnight on my scrap table until I could decide if I was finished. I ended up adding the blue dots the next day. Sometimes, you need a little "cool" to lighten up the "warm".

So what ideas do you have for this stamp set? It's only available in August so get it while you can!

Simply Inspired Blog Hop--30 Years of Happy

It's another blog hop! You should have arrived here from my wonderful and creative friend, Diana's, blog. Should you get lost along the way, just go here.

By now, you have read on the other blogs that we are celebrating not only National Stamping Month but also our founder, Jeanette Lynton's, 30 years of creativity in the stamping and scrapbooking industry. You can read all about it here. And that of course means good things for you and me.

This month only, this fabulous set of 30 stamps is available with a qualifying purchase. The first thing I thought when I saw this stamp set was how perfect it would be to accent photos in a "My Crush" book or with Picture My Life. I've mentioned on this blog before that as a full time working mom of teenagers with an active Close to My Heart business, sometimes time is at a premium.  But these stamps are perfect for fast, simple, easy scrapbooking.

I grabbed one of my favorite photos of my middle son, a "My Crush" book, and these stamps. And in a matter of minutes, I had "crushed" a page with just photos and a few stamped images.

I cut a notebook page with my Cricut Artbooking Cartridge for some hidden journaling. (Tip:  Keep lots of these on hand for quick and easy journaling cards.)

I love how well these little stamps accent the photos.

I keep a monthly photo log of our family doings and I know these stamp images will be making a regular appearance in that album. And there are so many other possibilities for them which I am sure you will discover as you hop through this blog. So with that, on to the the crafty and talented, Krista's, blog. Come back and visit again soon!
