Pajama Party

Remember sleep overs when you would stay up all night and eat lots of junk food and giggle and giggle until your sleep-deprived and oh, so patient dad would come downstairs and say, "Please girls, it is time to sleep"?"And you'd quiet down for a little while until you just couldn't control the giggles anymore?  Ahhh, those were the days.

What am I saying? Haven't any of you been to a late night crop or overnight retreat? I would dare to say late nights/sleepovers with girlfriends are alive and well among the scrapbooking set.

Here is the supply list to make one exactly like the one above. It looks really long but I am guessing most of you already own scissors, paper trimmer, etc. and really only need the basic product. You'll have plenty of leftovers to create more or pull together some fun layouts or cards. If you attend Cherish Your Memories scrapbooking nights with me, you're already planning on purchasing Chantilly for the June layouts and you can do this project with enough left over for your June layouts. ArtisticU--April 18th to April 20th, 2013

You’ve been asking for it and it’s finally time—time for a Scrapbook Retreat that is! You are invited to join us for two and a half days and two nights of creative fun at Artistic U!

Check in Thursday, April 18^th at 4:00 pm and be prepared for non-stop scrapbooking/crafting/fun until check out on Saturday, April 20^th at 4:00 pm.

What can you expect? Two nights lodging in a beautiful lodge in Heber, UT, fabulous meals, darling projects, fantastic giveaways, a Cricut demonstration that will take you to the next level, a gift bag of goodies, an Artistic U shirt that you will want to wear, and plenty of time to craft, laugh and have a fabulous time with friends, old and new. Oh, and I almost forgot about the hot tub and the theater room. If you need a break from crafting, you can take advantage of these!

So head on over to Artisticu.net to register, see photos of the venue and see a list of suggested items to bring. Registration is limited so don’t wait! We’ve tried extra hard to price this affordably and we promise it will be worth every penny of the $240 registration fee.

Can’t spend the night? We will be accepting a limited number of day timers. You can sign up to come up on Friday, Saturday or both days. You’ll get most of the goodies of the overnighters, you just have to leave by midnight on Friday and you’ll miss out on the complete retreat experience. So unless you have a once in a lifetime event you can’t miss, you are going to want to join us overnight. Cost will be $95 for one day, $170 for two.

Rooms will be assigned on a first come first served basis. That means the king sized beds will go first, then we’ll drop to queens, then hide-a-beds and then bunk beds. Three people to a room—exception are rooms with bunk beds. Each room has its own bathroom. If you’re coming with friends, register together so you can share a room and make sure to tell us who you are coming with so we can sit you together to craft!

Registration deadline is April 8^th or when the spots are full, whichever comes first. Hope to see you there!
